Microsoft is changing the way apps are pinned to the Windows 11 taskbar forever This is the new way
One of the most important elements of our Windows 11 operating system is the taskbar, located in the lower area where those applications that we have installed are collected.
Thanks to these apps pinned to the taskbar in Windows 11, we can access them with just a click, making productivity issues much easier.
Now, according to the latest Windows 11 preview , we will be able to install apps in a surprisingly easy way, which will make our lives a lot easier.
The latest Canary builds (27xxx) let you drag apps from the Windows Search UI to the taskbar to pin them. Here's the change in build 27695: https://t.co/m3XtSLE2i3 pic.twitter.com/MRFGzIvIuq

We can now pin all the apps through the internal search results of the operating system, simply by dragging the result to the taskbar as this video explains.
In the video presented by engineer phantomofearth on the social network, it was discovered that when searching for an application in Windows 11 in the search field in the taskbar, you can drag and pin that application.
It appears that clicking on the search field brings up a list of suggested apps, and then moves one of them, specifically the Snipping Tool app, to the taskbar.
In another example, you search for the Notepad app, and when it appears in the internal search list, you can easily drag it to pin it to the taskbar.
Comment that this is currently available for all Windows 11 versions, within the Canary channel which is numbered "27xxx" in the release.
In this way, we are allowed to customize the start menu more easily, being able to drag the applications that we consider appropriate in a better way than it is now.
