Logitech Launches MX Creative Platform for Digital Creativity
Logitech announced the launch of the MX Creative Platform, which allows digital creators to focus on their artwork in a way that makes tasks like visual editing easier with new AI capabilities.
These types of tools are aimed at creatives. With instant access to essential controls and ultimate customization, the MX Creative platform simplifies work and automates repetitive tasks.
“We designed the MX Creative platform to help people redefine their work, empowering them to work smarter and faster,” said Anatoly Polyanker, general manager of Logitech’s MX business unit.
“With the latest additions to the Logitech MX ecosystem, we’re capitalizing on key trends to facilitate digital creativity, 3D design, and AI-powered spatial computing,” he added.
The platform has dedicated plugins for popular Adobe applications, such as Photoshop, Lightroom Classic, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, and Illustrator.
The MX Creative platform enhances the ability to work with AI capabilities, such as Generative Fill in Photoshop and Text-Based Editing in Premiere Pro.
Each platform comes with a free three-month Adobe Creative Cloud All Apps membership, providing great value for both new and existing users.
“Our vision is to build an advanced ecosystem for power users, such as software developers, creative professionals, and engineers, who use computers every day and spend eight hours a day on them,” Logitech said. “These peripherals are critical to productivity.”
The MX Creative platform offers versatility and a personalized experience for every user. It features a keyboard with dynamic display keys to access and launch the most important actions, along with a customizable dial pad that acts as a smart analog navigation controller.
With the free Logi Options+ software, the platform offers seamless application integration across Windows and Mac, with customizable controls, add-ons, accounts, and icons available through the Logitech Marketplace.
When dealing with creative applications, you need to remember complex shortcuts to be productive, and the MX Creative platform has buttons to deal with these shortcuts.
The platform includes the MX Creative Keyboard, a wired device with nine LCD keys that dynamically change depending on the application being used.
Power users can assign functions to these keys as needed so they don't have to worry about memorizing these shortcuts.
Meanwhile, the Creative Dashboard's tasks can also be contextually assigned. It comes with pre-defined accounts for Adobe applications, and its function changes when you change the application, making life easier for the creative community.
Logitech is selling the MX Creative for $200, and it's compatible with Windows and Mac.
