HP Announces Its New OmniBook Ultra Flip Laptop
HP has announced its first AI-powered hybrid PC, the OmniBook Ultra Flip, with a distinctive display, a modern design that can be converted to suit your preferred use style, and the latest Intel processors.
The device comes with a 14-inch OLED touch screen with a resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels, a variable refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, a thickness of 15 mm, and a weight of 1.35 kg.
The new OmniBook Ultra Flip is powered by Intel Core Ultra 200V series processors with a dedicated AI engine, and the company offers the ability to customize the device with Ultra 5 226V and up to Ultra 9 288V processors, and the computer will receive an update to support Microsoft's Copilot Plus AI features by the end of next November.
The device is available with a storage capacity of 512 GB, with larger storage options of up to 2 TB, and a RAM of 16 GB, and it can reach 32 GB in the high versions.
The device includes a powerful battery that can last up to 20 hours, according to the company. The battery charge reaches 50% when charged for 45 minutes via the included charger.
The AI features built into the device, thanks to the Intel Neural Processing Unit, include support for hand gestures to navigate between documents or web pages, adjust the volume, and control media playback. The computer can also automatically lock itself when the user leaves, then restart automatically when they return.
After the Copilot Plus update is available, other features will be added such as AI image generation and editing, instant translation, Recall feature, and more.
HP is currently offering the OmniBook Ultra Flip for sale on its official website , starting at $1,450.
