How to use Google's new Pixel Screenshots app

Pixel Screenshots is a new app from Google available exclusively on the Google Pixel 9 series that stores all the screenshots you take on your phone, and relies on artificial intelligence to help you search for information contained in screenshots.

If you're using one of the new Google Pixel 9 phones, here's how to use the Pixel Screenshots app:

How does Pixel Screenshots work?

The Pixel Screenshots app relies on the Gemini Nano model to analyze and index all your screenshots so you can easily access them, and any screenshot you take on the Pixel 9 is saved by default to the Pixel Screenshots app instead of being saved to Google Photos.

Currently, the Pixel Screenshots app is only available on the Pixel 9 series, which includes the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold. It is unknown at this time if older Pixel devices will get it or not.
