Honor launches its new tablet Pad X8a
Honor has launched its new Pad X8a tablet, which features an 11-inch TFT LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, a 90Hz refresh rate, and an 84 percent screen-to-body ratio.
The display supports up to 16.7 million colors with a peak brightness of 400 nits and a pixel density of 207 pixels per inch, and is TÜV Rheinland certified for low blue light and a flicker-free experience.
Honor has equipped the tablet with a Snapdragon 680 processor from Qualcomm with an Adreno 610 graphics processing unit.
The processor is paired with 4GB of RAM with 4GB of virtual RAM and 128GB of internal storage, expandable up to 1TB using a microSD card.
The tablet runs on MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14, and features a full metal body with an aluminum frame and aluminum back, measuring just 7.25mm thick.
The laptop measures 256.97mm x 168.46mm x 7.25mm and weighs 495g. It has four speakers and HONOR Hi-Res audio technology for crystal clear sound.
Honor has equipped the computer with a 5-megapixel rear camera with an f/2.2 aperture and autofocus, and a 5-megapixel front camera with an f/2.2 aperture and fixed focus.
The tablet is powered by an 8,300mAh battery that supports 10W charging.
According to the company, the device is capable of playing online video for about 14 hours on a full charge.
In terms of connectivity, the new Honor device supports dual-band Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1, with a USB Type-C port.
Honor is launching its new Pad X8a in gray, and it is available for purchase at a price of $155 for the only 4GB + 128GB version, and buyers get a free Honor Flip Cover case.
