Google Photos Adds AI to Edit Your Videos
Google is entering the world of video editing with its latest update to Google Photos. The app, available on Android and iOS, now includes new tools to make editing videos from your mobile phone easier than ever.
This news isn’t exactly new; Android Authority has already predicted some of these features in its previous analysis. Now, Google has officially confirmed that they exist and are getting ready to launch.
One of the first things you'll notice is the change in the interface. The small buttons have been replaced with larger, easier-to-understand options.
Among the new features, there is an improved trimmer that allows you to adjust your clips in a millimeter way. There is also an “auto-enhance” option that can make your videos look much better with just one click. Additionally, it has added a new video speed control tool, which is ideal for creating slow motion effects or speeding up certain parts of the video. - In short, these are the features that have been added:
- Updated trimmer that can intelligently shorten clips.
- A button to automatically enhance the video, allowing the app to apply the filters it deems appropriate.
A button to increase or decrease the speed of the clip, and can be automatically adjusted to increase or decrease the drama of the scene being displayed.
The most interesting thing is the integration of artificial intelligence into Google Photos. This can help you trim videos, adjust lighting, control speed, and apply effects like dynamic motion tracking. All this can be done with just a few taps on the screen.
It's pretty clear that with this update, Google is making video editing almost a breeze.
This is reminiscent of how other platforms are leveraging AI to make video editing accessible to the general public.
