Gemini Live is now free and available for all users on Android

Initially exclusive to premium subscribers, Gemini Live is now available to all users for free. This feature sets itself apart from the standard Gemini app with its dynamic and fluid conversational style, allowing users to seamlessly interrupt and provide new information or directions.
How to use Gemini Live app?
Gemini Live is available exclusively on the Gemini app, which can be downloaded from the Play Store. However, it is important to note that the service is currently only available to users with Android devices and those whose phones are set to English. The feature will be expanded to support additional languages in the near future.
To activate Gemini Live, simply tap the star icon in the bottom right corner of the Gemini app. This will open a screen that displays two buttons: Hold and End. These buttons allow you to navigate and control the conversation. Once the chat is complete, you can review a detailed transcript of the entire interaction.
While Gemini Live offers a great chat experience, it’s important to note that it currently doesn’t support extensions like Gmail, YouTube Music, or Maps. However, these limitations will likely be addressed in future updates as the service evolves.
