Beware of the dangerous ShowOS that everyone is talking about
Although Windows is a proprietary operating system, with a license that prevents its modification and distribution except through Microsoft, there are dedicated users who create modified versions of this system. These modified versions are nothing more than a collection of problems, bugs and vulnerabilities that will make you lose all the files on your hard drive and your personal, private and banking data will end up in the hands of the creators of these versions.
ShowOS is an operating system created by YouTuber Sfdxshow, in collaboration with xdoofy92, creator of the controversial and dangerous Windows MiniOS. The two of them created a new, illegally modified version of Windows 11, from which they removed programs and services, at the same time as they may have hidden dangerous programs without anyone knowing to create this Windows. In theory, it runs faster and consumes fewer resources, although it is dangerous.
If we look closely, we can see that this system takes up less space than the Microsoft version once installed. Without going any further, 5 GB of files have been deleted from the Windows folder. Essential programs and services have also been removed from the system, and why doesn’t it come with Microsoft Defender? There are two characters hiding something to leave the system without a basic and necessary antivirus like this one.
The first thing we will find when we want to download this system is that its creator has uploaded it to a website full of ads and malware, which is against Microsoft policies and can put your main computer at risk if you click somewhere you shouldn’t. After all, there is a huge profit motive behind this system, and with all the unwanted software hidden behind ShowOS is where they make their money.
If Windows is slow on your computer, you have two options: buy a new computer, or install Linux. Everything else is a placebo, and will bring you a lot of problems. I hope Microsoft takes legal action against these people, and in the meantime avoid downloading ShowOS.
