Be careful with your iPhone 16 Pro battery, replacing it is now more expensive

As if the poor sales of the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max weren’t enough, Apple has decided to increase the price of battery replacements for these models. Now, if you need to replace the battery on these devices out of warranty, it will cost you $119, which is a $20 increase from last year.

You’re probably wondering why this increase. The answer could be because it includes a new metal casing that the batteries in the iPhone 16 Pro models are said to have, designed to improve heat management. The reason could be this novelty, which appears to be exclusive to the Pro models.

Of course, this kind of change certainly doesn’t come as a surprise to many users, as this isn’t the first time Apple has raised the prices for its battery service. When they launched the iPhone 14, the replacement cost went from $69 to $99, and before that, they also increased the price of older models, from $69 to $89.
