Apple launches iPadOS 18 for iPad devices

Apple releases iPadOS 18 for iPad devices

Apple has started rolling out the new iPadOS 18 for iPad devices, a new update that includes many new features for Apple tablets and their accessories.

The system is now available for all iPad devices running the current iPadOS 17 system, except for the sixth generation of the basic iPad, which was released in 2018.

iPadOS 18 works on the 3rd generation iPad Pro with a 12.9-inch display and later, all 11-inch iPad Pro models, the 3rd generation iPad Air and later, the 7th generation iPad and later, and the 5th generation iPad mini and later.

One of the important additions in iPadOS 18 is the presence of Apple's calculator application for the first time, as it has been absent from iPad devices for years for unknown reasons. This application allows for performing many simple and complex mathematical operations and converting units, and it eliminates the need for external applications.

In the Notes app, Apple added the ability to solve equations and mathematical problems by simply writing them and typing the “equals” sign after them.

Apple has updated Safari to display important information when browsing websites, and a detailed table of contents feature that displays a summary of general ideas and allows you to explore the essence of the article before you start reading it.

iPadOS 18 shares many features with iOS 18 , including making the Home screen more customizable by allowing icons to be moved anywhere on the screen and changing the color of icons when switching to Night Mode, as well as allowing customization of Control Center, experiencing the new Photos app, the Password Manager app, App Lock, new features in the Messages app, and more.
