Apple is developing a new Magic Keyboard for iPads

A new report has revealed that Apple is developing a new version of the Magic Keyboard dedicated to supporting the next generation of iPad devices.

Apple analyst Mark Gurman recently reported that Apple has begun testing a new version of the Magic Keyboard, which comes at a low cost to support iPad and iPad Air users.

The Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro was introduced in May, and the upcoming lower-cost version is coming to the market.

The lower-cost version of the Magic Keyboard is not expected to come with an aluminum design like previous versions, so expectations indicate that the lower-cost version will come with a silicone design.

The new Magic Pad is also set to follow the company's previous Magic Folio that hit the market in 2022 for the iPad 10, and the Magic Pad that hit the market for the iPad Air in 2020.

Mark Gurman's report indicates that the expected date for announcing the Magic Keyboard is at an event to be held in mid-2025.
