Apple Announces It Has Stopped Selling These Three iPhones
As expected, Apple has already announced that it will stop selling three iPhone models that were considered high-end until recently. The iPhone 13, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max have been officially withdrawn from direct sales by the company, coinciding with the launch of the new iPhone 16 series.
While it may have come as a surprise to some, it's part of Apple's usual strategy, and it makes sense that all eyes are on these fresh-out-of-the-oven devices.
However, it's not all bad news for owners of these phones. Apple has confirmed that they will continue to provide security updates and iOS updates to these devices for several more years.
To give you an idea, retired aircraft will be considered obsolete after five years, and obsolete after seven years. During the obsolete period, repairs and replacement parts can still be obtained, as long as they are available.
Moreover, if what worries you is the issue of artificial intelligence, iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max users can not despair, as these models will still be compatible with Apple Intelligence, although the promotion focused on the iPhone 16.
Even though Apple has stopped selling the above phones, they will still be available in third-party stores, perhaps at lower prices, so this is definitely a great opportunity if you, like many others, were a little disappointed with this iPhone 16 series.
