Samsung, along with Google, is the Android handset manufacturer that updates its devices the fastest with the latest Android security patch, and for another month, the Korean giant has already started rolling out the latest Android update, the September 2024 update, to the top phones in its portfolio.

Specifically, currently, the South Korean brand has already released the September 2024 Android update on a total of 5 smartphones in its catalog and we hope that this new security patch will reach more devices from the South Korean giant between now and the end of the month.

Of course, as we usually do, we'll continue to update this article with all the Samsung phones that join this particular update until the end of September.

At the moment, Samsung has only rolled out the September Android update to the latest Galaxy S and Galaxy Z series phones, but this new security update is expected to reach other older phones in these families and the Galaxy A, Galaxy Note, Galaxy M, and Galaxy F series phones in the coming weeks.

So the five Samsung phones that have already received the September 2024 Android update are:

- Samsung Galaxy S24

- +Samsung Galaxy S24

- Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra

- Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6

- Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6

As expected, this new software update includes the September 2024 security patch, which fixes a total of 67 security and privacy vulnerabilities. Out of all these issues, 44 were fixed by Google while the remaining 32 were discovered and fixed by Samsung.

Likewise, this new security patch also resolves a fair number of general UI bugs that were discovered in previous versions of One UI, and improves the stability and performance of these five major releases.

If you have one of these Samsung Galaxy devices and want to check if this new security update has already reached your device, all you have to do is access its Settings panel and enter the Software Update section.

Once available, simply tap on the Download and Install button and let One UI take care of updating your Samsung Galaxy phone with the latest Android security patch.
