After you install this app that almost everyone doesn't know about, you will forget and delete the official YouTube app from your phone

As a general rule, users can access YouTube through the official application developed by Goga for Android. This allows us to enjoy the features in advance, before the rest, as long as we are subscribed to Premium. However, not everyone is satisfied and that is why there are alternative clients in the community.

This is somewhat what happened with Tubular, an app I tried and eventually ended up adopting on my phone. After six releases, it has become particularly stable and its interface is reminiscent of the mainstream Android interfaces of a few years ago.

For the rest, it inherits certain behaviors that we have absorbed well from the official YouTube app, such as swiping down to minimize the video in the foreground. And its settings allow you to customize the experience in detail: preset resolution for the pop-up player, choice of audio tracks and player (it is possible to choose an external player), customization of the home screen tabs and much more. It is very versatile.
