Adobe introduces its own AI to create videos from text or images
Converting text into a series of animated images is a challenge, and so far we’ve seen different proposals come from companies like OpenAI with Sora. Adobe has known how to not get ahead of itself, and perhaps waiting is its greatest virtue, and the launch of Firefly Video Model seems to have come at a stage of maturity that many other competitors lack.
Adobe’s strategy for launching this new generative video model is to make it workable at a professional level. Yes, Adobe is focusing the Firefly Video Model on the audience that uses its editing software on a daily basis.
To achieve this, Adobe has developed a launch and integration plan for a new AI model for video creation. Adobe Premiere users will be the first to get this model, which is in beta, and can use it to perform the following actions:
- Generative extension: Increase the length of videos using artificial intelligence
- Text to Video: Create video from text
- Picture to Video: Create video from picture
All professionals who use Premiere Pro will be able to take full advantage of these features, with new AI-based tools that will be part of everything this video editing software has to offer.
What happens to the rest of the users? Adobe indicated that its AI video generation model will also include a page where users can create videos from text. Additionally, the promotional video showed that different settings will be offered.
The date on which this site will be launched to directly access the Firefly Video Model has not yet been determined, but it is said that it will arrive after the model is integrated into Premiere Pro, which means that you will have to be a little patient.
