A trick you should know that Google has put in your phone to take high-quality photos of any part of a video clip

The holidays are over for a large part of people and it's time to review the photos and videos taken. Google Photos is the default gallery app for many users, partly because it's pre-installed on all Android phones and partly because it offers a cloud storage service that, although no longer limited, is still one of the most used.

The app is very easy to use, showing photos directly in the interface without you having to do anything. Additionally, it allows you to share them, organize them into albums, or edit them easily.

However, there are still functions that many people do not know about, especially when editing videos. Videos can be trimmed and edited with filters, and most usefully, it can be a powerful source for extracting images from video.

In order to take a picture of a video, many users take a screenshot of their mobile phone screen, but this is not the best option. The process of taking a picture of a video in good quality is done through Google Photos.

What you need to do is open Google Photos and open the video.

And click on the editing options that appear when you touch the screen while playing the video.

A button will appear with the text "Export frame".

We have to go to the moment of the video that we want to save as an image of, and once we have selected it, click on Export frame.

A notification will appear below indicating that the image has been saved and will be stored in the phone's gallery. From that moment on, the image, which will be in high quality, can be edited or shared like any other image taken with your mobile phone.
