The new feature was discovered by WaBetaInfo in version 2.23.16.6 of the WhatsApp beta for Android, and we can now take a look at how it works. Once a user receives a message containing a link, it is possible to perform a quick and easier search to obtain information about the destination of this link. In order to obtain this information, WhatsApp alerts that the message containing the link will be sent to Google.
