Razer Enki X Gaming Chair Review

Razer introduced the Razer Enki X gaming chair with a design that mimics the premium versions and at a reasonable price level. In the following lines, we will review the advantages and disadvantages of this version.

Razer competes in the gaming chair market with its Iskur brand, but these have been priced higher than the Enki gaming chairs, which are priced lower.

The Enki X gaming chair in particular offers excellent value for its price point, combining excellent design and build, a comfortable experience to support the user during long gaming sessions, and an excellent design compared to competing versions at a higher price point.

On the other hand, the gaming chair comes without some features common in higher-priced versions, such as the chair tilt mechanism and four-way armrests, but the absence of these features does not affect the value of the gaming chair.

Box Contents and Chair Assembly

The Razer Enki X box includes a black fabric glove with some distinctive green trim to protect the user's hand when assembling the chair, but the glove's light texture can make it difficult to grip objects.

On the other hand, the assembly process of the chair is characterized by a smooth and simple experience that is not different from competing versions, as the upper part of the chair is attached to the seat joint, which requires the sides of the chair back to be precisely aligned with the small metal arms.

The Enki X features flat panels similar to the Secretlab Titan EVO to provide the user with a quick experience of aligning the screw holes, so you won't have a hard time installing the parts. Despite the plastic panels being designed differently from the Titan EVO's metal panels, they still serve the purpose perfectly.

Once you have the main parts of the chair connected, you will need to start by attaching the plastic covers to the top of the joint, then flip all the parts over, attach the metal bracket to the bottom, then attach the chair to the base and attach the gas cylinder and wheels to the metal base.

Design

The Enki X gaming chair features a sleek, modern design, with curves in the back of the chair that are streamlined and less pronounced than competing gaming chairs. Also, as an alternative to the flat leather design, the seat and back feature a quilted diamond design.

The edges of the gaming chair are also green, and the Razer logo appears in green on the head of the gaming chair. The leather design and fabric in the Enki X blend in distinctively and create a stylish final design, and it also provides an excellent experience in bending with the user's body naturally.

The chair also features a smooth matte finish except for a solid bar that runs through the middle of the gaming chair's design to support the user's spine.

On the other hand, the sides of the gaming chair feature a smooth design, but it is more shiny with a fabric that touches the user's shoulders and legs for a distinctive sitting experience during long gaming sessions, and an attractive and durable final design.

The interior design of the Enki X chair includes double layers, and the seat layers feature softer foam on the bottom compared to the part facing the user's back, so the chair will provide a comfortable experience on the bottom and more support and stability on the back facing part.

Specifications missing from Enki X

This version lacks some features that were introduced in the original Enki version. While the armrests support horizontal height and angle adjustment, the armrests cannot be moved to the left, right, forward, or backward, unlike the Enki and SecretLab Titan Evo gaming chairs.

The Enki X's armrests also don't feature the full metal design of the Enki, and the matte piping that connects the chair makes for a less attractive design.

On the other hand, the chair is fixed to a base with a gas cylinder via a metal plate with a simple design as an alternative to the mechanical design of the joint, so the user will not be able to tilt the chair backwards like the Enki and Titan Evo, but by pulling the side lever of the chair, the user will be able to tilt the chair 152 degrees.

Comfortable experience with quality manufacturing

The Razer Enki X gaming chair is aimed at supporting premium users with a height of 1.5m to 1.8m, and a weight of less than 136kg for a comfortable experience, and optimal support for the user's back. The soft design of the seat will provide a comfortable experience for the user, with good stability, so despite the absence of the mechanical tilt feature, it does not affect the comfortable experience of the chair, and also matches the price level of the chair.

Excellent value with a good price.

The missing features of the Razer Enki X do not affect the excellent experience and value offered to the user at this level of pricing, as it comes with a better experience compared to the GTRacing gaming chair, so it is a candidate version for users at this level of pricing.

But if you want the full experience, the Enki gaming chair offers the features you need at a higher price.

The Razer Enki X combines excellent design with a comfortable user experience at a good price.
