New Galaxy A16 specs reveal two different processors

Earlier this month, the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G appeared on Geekbench powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, and today another version of the Galaxy A16 specifications appeared on the same platform but with a completely different processor, this time the phone comes with the Exynos 1380 processor manufactured by Samsung itself, and unfortunately we cannot compare the results due to the different versions of Geekbench used in the two tests.

The important thing here is that Samsung will likely offer the A16 5G with two different processors depending on the target market. The first model has the model number SM-A166P and is powered by the Dimensity 6300 processor, while the second model with the model number SM-A166E comes with the Exynos 1380 processor, which is the same processor used in the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A35.

The Galaxy A16 5G demo that appeared on Geekbench today came with just 4GB of RAM, so we expect there to be other options with larger capacities. On the other hand, Samsung is also working on a 4G version of the Galaxy A16.
