MyHeritage now lets you animate old or new family photos into deepfake videos
We recently talked about the old photo fixer launched by MyHeritage , which achieved some really amazing results. Now the service has taken it a step further by offering a tool that lets you animate people’s faces by turning old photos into a really amazing kind of deepfake video using AI.
This is possible thanks to the animation technology developed by a company specialized in this field, which takes advantage of deep learning to achieve this, and has now been applied on the site through the new section: Deep Nostalgia .
What the tool does after you upload the image is analyze the face or faces in it and create a few seconds long video in which the selected face moves to slightly different gestures.
To use the tool, you just have to access its page and click on the Upload Image button, we will have to wait a few seconds to get the result and then upload the image after moving it.
