The Bavarians head to Volkswagen Arena and the Vincent Kompany era begins.

When the Bayern Munich team travels to Wolfsburg on Sunday to begin the new season, new manager Vincent Kompany will be in charge of his first Bundesliga game.

Bayern were overthrown last season by Xabi Alonso's supposedly unbeatable Bayer Leverkusen team, following 11 straight league title victories.

For Kompany, the goal of bringing Bayern back to the forefront is evident.

After spending a combined €127.5 million to bring in Michael Olise, Joao Palhinha, and Hiroki Ito, Bayern has a fresh look both on the field and in the dugout.

Wolfsburg will be looking to improve on their strong finish to the previous campaign, in which coach Ralph Hasenhuttl guided Die Wölfe to a 12th-place result after assuming leadership in March.

They are without Joakim Maehle, Kevin Behrens, and crucial player Kevin Paredes going into this game.

On Sunday, August 25, Wolfsburg will play Bayern Munich at the Volkswagen Arena.

The game will begin at 3:30 p.m. local time on Sunday, which means that it will start at 9:30 a.m. ET, 6:30 a.m. PT in the US, 2:30 p.m. in the UK, and 11:30 p.m. AEST in Australia.

Some quick suggestions for utilizing a VPN to stream the Bundesliga

Your ISP, browser, video streaming service, and VPN are the four factors that could affect your Bundesliga match streaming experience and results.

Use ExpressVPN's "search for city or country" feature if your preferred location is not listed as a default choice.

There are two fast fixes you may attempt if you are still having difficulties getting the game after turning on your VPN and setting it to the correct viewing area.

First, check sure the address linked to your account is in the appropriate viewing region by logging into your streaming service subscription account.

If not, it might be necessary for you to update the physical address linked to your account. Second, you may not be able to install VPN apps directly on some smart TVs, such as Roku.

In order for any device connected to your router's Wi-Fi network to now appear in the correct viewing location, you will need to install the VPN on your router or mobile hotspot (such as your phone).

On their main websites, each of the VPN companies we suggest offers easy-to-follow installation guides for setting up the VPN on your network. After installing a sports app from a cable network on your smart TV, you can occasionally receive an email asking you to confirm a code or click a link that needs to be clicked.

Because both devices will appear to be in the proper location, having a VPN enabled on your router will be helpful in this situation as well.

Additionally, keep in mind that even when utilizing a VPN, browsers can still reveal a user's location, so make sure you are logging into your services using a privacy-first browser. Normally, we suggest Brave.
