Galaxy Watch Ultra update reveals new improvements
Samsung released a new update for both the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra just a week after their official launch, the new Galaxy Watch Ultra update focuses on fixing some bugs and improving overall system stability.
Update Galaxy Watch Ultra
The One UI 6 update for Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch 7 was launched in the United States, and the update begins to gradually spread to users, this update mainly aims to improve the stability of the device, as it focuses more on stability in the changelog as well as a slight difference in file size in the United States.
Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra currently use Wear OS 5 with One UI 6, and devices prior to these models can download and install the beta version of One UI 6, but the stable version of the Galaxy Watch 4, 5 and 6 is likely to be released soon.
More details about the Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch 7 update
Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra began receiving a new update a few days after launch, bearing the L310XXU1AXG2 version number of the Watch 7, and the L705FXXU1AXFB version number of the Galaxy Watch Ultra. The device may have been updated automatically if this setting is turned on.
Users can check this manually through the Galaxy Wearables app and scroll to the bottom of the watch settings page, pressing Update watch software will allow searching for the latest version, and the current version will also be available in this section.
Minor improvements to Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch 7
Changelog doesn't provide much detail about the update, as it is limited to improving performance and fixing bugs, which likely means there are more likely small changes to slightly improve the user experience for a new device.
It should be noted that the Galaxy Watch Ultra is priced at $649, and the Watch 7 is priced at $299, so having a good software version is essential, this does not mean that the operating system is flawed from the beginning, it is just an improvement for users.
The new version has brought some changes to the way Samsung wearables handle exercise and health tracking statistics, and the update should start rolling out to users now.
