The new ultrawide lens is rumored to use an improved version of the 1/2.76-inch JN1 sensor, which will offer 50 MP resolution. In comparison, the Galaxy S24 Ultra's ultrawide camera used a 1/2.52-inch sensor with 12 MP resolution. Samsung Mobile Experience (MX) Division Vice President Daniel Araujo, in a conference call where the company announced its second-quarter 2024 financial results, emphasized that the Galaxy S25 series will come with significant camera and display upgrades. He also stated that this series will include the best application processor (AP) and memory to enhance AI performance. "We are constantly improving the hardware of our S series devices . We are working to deliver the best experience, especially in camera and display features. The Galaxy S25 will be launched with the best innovations in this area," Araujo said.
While there has been no official statement regarding the Exynos 2500 chipset being used in the Galaxy S25 series, industry experts believe that the series will have Exynos chipset-powered models in many regions.
