Windows 11 provided many features that many people liked, but some people didn't like them, so you will find many people who preferred to use Windows 10 over Windows 11, but they wished for specific features from Windows 11 to be present in Windows 10, so you will find many tools that perform the function of those features, including today's tool that enables you to control the sound through the mouse wheel as in Windows 11.
In Windows 10, to adjust the volume, you have to click on the speaker icon on the taskbar and drag the slider to adjust a certain level, but the TrayVolumeControl tool will make the way to change the sound similar to Windows 11 currently, which is to control the volume using the mouse wheel. The tool is completely free and very simple, just download the compressed file of the tool from the link below the post
After extracting the files, double-click on the "Install.cmd" file.
A window will appear in the command prompt telling you that the program has been installed successfully as shown in the picture.
Now to adjust the volume on the computer, point the mouse pointer over the speaker icon next to the clock on the taskbar, then drag up and down with the mouse wheel and while scrolling, raise or lower the volume by one degree, where a small window will appear on the screen where you can see the volume ratio.
To quickly mute the sound, click the mouse wheel once over the icon and Mute mode will be activated.
