Big surprise: Huawei's triple-folding phone appears
Huawei's three-part foldable phone
The phone is expected to come with a 10-inch foldable screen, and will be released before the Mate 70 series, which is scheduled to launch in the last quarter of the year. The camera design looks similar to that of the Mate X5, and the folded phone in the hand of the average person does not look excessively thick or wide.
The phone is expected to feature a new battery based on silicon-carbon technology, the same technology used in many other Chinese smartphones, which offers higher energy density, although it still lags behind its competitors in the field of fast charging.

Huawei Tri-Fold Phone Specifications
Months ago, we heard that Huawei was working on a three-part foldable device, and the company has not made any official statement yet, but Richard Yu, the company's former CEO, was seen using the device.
The image below shows Huawei's tri-foldable phone with a punch-hole front camera in the left display. The device has two hinges instead of one as seen on regular foldable phones like the Huawei Mate X5, Vivo X Fold3 Pro, and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6.

An informed source says the device that appeared with Yu looks similar to the R&D prototype he has seen before, and is expected to have a screen size of around 10 inches, and to come with a Kirin 9 series processor.
The source also added that the tri-fold phone will be released before the Mate 70, and there were rumors that it would be released before the end of June, but that did not happen, and the Mate 70 is scheduled to launch in China in the middle or late fourth quarter of this year.
