Android Auto 12.7 is now available Features and how to update now
It's been a few days since the stable version of Android Auto 12.6 was released, and just in the middle of this week, the new beta version of Android Auto was released to some users, and now we are already with 12.7.
As usual, Google first releases the relevant beta version to its early adopter users, and after a few days, if there is nothing strange, it ends up releasing it to everyone in a stable version.
It's also common for Google not to release any update notes for new versions of Android Auto, so version 12.7 is waiting a bit for the majority of beta channel users to discover some new functionality.
As reported in the last hours, Android Auto 12.7 includes practically no new functions, focusing more on issues related to bug fixes and other improvements.
What some users have noticed is the return of the notification configuration with the assistant on the mobile phone. This option had disappeared before, and now it is back, allowing us to control how notifications are managed while driving.
According to them, a notification called “More ways to manage notifications” appears in the car, and when you tap on it, it directs the user to the Android Auto options in the car's system.
If you're part of the Android Auto beta program, you can now access this new version 12.7, but even if you're not part of it, don't worry, because you can try this version if you see fit.
To do this, you should head to sites like APK Mirror where you can download the latest versions of Android Auto, including the 12.7 beta.
You must enable installation from unknown external sources on your mobile device to install this beta version.
