Disney+ Will Be Available to Watch in Certain Cars Soon Both the LG Automotive Content Platform and a channel subscription are required.

At a later time, LG plans to add Disney+ to the list of apps available in car entertainment systems.

It is getting easier and easier to turn on a movie in the car, and it appears like LG's latest announcement will give you even more options for what to watch.  Disney+ is scheduled to be introduced to the LG Automotive Content Platform (ACP) in the near future, according to a press statement from LG Electronics. It will launch in the US and Korea first, with "additional markets to follow." Infotainment systems in cars are intended to receive information and services from the LG ACP.

"It is the centerpiece of LG's PlayWare entertainment system that enriches the in-vehicle infotainment experience," according to its webOS power source.

Disney+ is a part of a broader entertainment app ecosystem that is compatible with LG ACP, which also includes TikTok, Netflix, YouTube, LG Channels, and more.

According to LG, the PlayWare entertainment system features AI Audio technology for spatial sound and can provide 4K Ultra HD entertainment.

The vehicles in which LG PlayWare of the LG ACP would be available, as well as the precise dates of Disney+'s US release, are not specified.

The business did point out that using the service would require a DisneyPlus subscription and that you would probably also need to buy in-car Wi-Fi, though the exact cost will depend on a number of variables.
