I discovered the secret of the keyboard shortcut ALT + Tab and you should use it often
Keyboard shortcuts are really useful in my daily life. Surely all of us who have to use a computer every day have some favorite shortcuts. This is something that happens to me with the famous ALT+Tab shortcut that helps me organize myself on a daily basis amidst the chaos of many open windows.
We have all undoubtedly used the Alt + Tab shortcut at some point, since it is a classic keyboard shortcut that allows us to switch between the windows we have open on our computer. That is, if we have two windows open for Chrome and a Word document, we will be able to switch between them with a simple touch. Now I discovered that it has a function that I did not know about.
On many occasions, it seems that we do not know everything about an operating system like Windows, but sometimes we also find surprises in the actions we use daily. We have one example in this keyboard shortcut that surprised me personally.
As a Bluesky user reports, this keyboard shortcut has more potential than we know. Specifically, we'll be able to quickly close any window we have open from the view that appears when we press Alt + Tab.
Originally we would be able to do this with the mouse by clicking on the “X” that appears in the upper right corner of each window. But since we are talking about keyboard shortcuts, we can do this by pressing the “Del” key on the keyboard after pressing Alt + Tab.
Immediately, the selected window will be closed, when you press Alt+Tb+Del. This way, if you are someone like me who has many things open at once, you will be able to easily close the ones you are not using.
