Gemini Robot in Google Slides.. How to use artificial intelligence to create distinctive presentations?
Creating great presentations takes a lot of time and effort, but with the spread of artificial intelligence and chatbots, it has become much easier than before. Since many people use the Google Slides application to create presentations, Google has integrated the Gemini bot into Google Slides to make their work easier, and help them create presentations quickly and with little effort.
Below we will explain how you can use Gemini bot in Google Slides to create great presentations:
1- Design custom images and illustrations using artificial intelligence:
Finding the right images and illustrations for your presentation content is one of the most difficult tasks when preparing slides. Usually, it requires searching for images and editing them using image editing tools to fit the slide content.
But with Gemini's built-in Google Slides bot, all you need to do is describe the image you want. There are two ways to do this:
- Method 1: Click the Ask Gemini icon next to your profile picture to open a chat window with Gemini, then enter a prompt describing the picture you want, and Gemini will design a suitable picture.
- Method 2: You can access the image creation tool by going to the Insert button, then select Image, then Help me create an image. This will open the Create an Image with Gemini ribbon, where you can type a description for the image, and choose an image style that suits your presentation. After providing all the details, Gemini will create the appropriate image.
2- Create slides based on descriptions:
Gemini can only create one slide per prompt, so you'll need to write a prompt for each slide until you've finished creating your entire presentation.
When you start creating your presentation, design only the first slide yourself, and add to it the basic topics such as: the main title, and any other key information that you want the target audience to know.
For other slides, you can ask Gemini to help you design them, by providing your basic notes on the topic of the slide and the way you want it to be displayed, and the bot can design the slide based on your notes. You can then edit the titles, adjust the bullet points, or change the image.
3- Create a summary slide:
Once your presentation is completely ready, you may want to summarize all the main points in one slide to end the presentation in a memorable way.
Gemini in Google Slides can help you create your summary. After you launch Gemini, you'll see a summary of your presentation that the bot has automatically written. At the bottom of the summary, there's an option to Add a summary slide. Click it, and Gemini will create a slide showing all the key points. You can then edit it and move it to the end of your presentation.
4- Exchange ideas with Gemini to improve the presentation:
Sometimes the hardest part of creating a presentation is figuring out how to make it engaging. But with Gemini, you can easily brainstorm layouts, colors, key points, and content. Just launch Gemini and ask for suggestions.
While some of the ideas the bot will provide will be appropriate, others may be off-topic. The key to getting the most out of Gemini in Google Slides is how to write the right prompts, and sometimes you may need to tweak a prompt more than once to get the content you want.
