Best PC Games of the Year 2024
The new rounds of 2024 presented us with a number of surprises early this year, and we are sure to see more as we approach spring. Up to this point, we've seen the first amazing success with the early launch game Viking Valheim. We were also quite as satisfied as we expected with the three-ending Hitman 3 set. Spring is set to be warm as we expect Amplitude's Humankind and Arkane's first-person Deathloop.
After launching the new PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S before the end of last year, 2024 is sure to be a shock-packed year. New Year's releases are likely to gain momentum from those new devices, which PC versions are supposed to take advantage of as well.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many games, of all shapes and sizes, have been postponed from their original dates to this year. Exceptionally anticipated games like Halo Infinite have ended with new designs for release in 2024. Information about postponements does not currently appear to evaporate, along the same lines. We may not yet see the end of game postponements caused by the pandemic as developers continue to work remotely. Similarly, as was the case last year, we will stay up to date with all the announcements, delays and revelations of new games that will be launched in 2024.
