In-ear headphones, on the other hand, are not as effective in giving a good verdict on the recording quality: although you can still understand what is being said in conversations, the sound suffers from background noise and distortion. 'a slight distortion. Here we would have liked higher quality in this price range.

Practical, autonomy and wearing comfort
The Air Pro uses touch controls on both earbuds, which can perform various actions with single or multiple taps. This allows you to pause or skip songs, answer and end calls, and change the current operating mode. The available modes are a normal mode, one with noise reduction and one with ambient sound. However, there's no "tap and hold" to adjust the volume, so you have to rely on your smartphone for that.
The Earfun Air Pro is easy to use: there is virtually no risk of incorrect input. The in-ears work slightly better than the normal Earfun Air. Noise cancellation and ambient sound are also good: considering the price, you can't expect a premium solution for both, but noise cancellation reduces ambient noise a lot and even though ambient mode is noisy, it remains useful for conversations. Auditory recognition, which pauses playback when you unpause it, also worked well in our tests.
The only very minor complaint we have with the headphones concerns the charging case: Earfun has unfortunately only installed a red LED to visualize the charge level, which flashes one to three times depending on the remaining capacity. It's a little confusing at first use and requires a little more attention afterward than just visualizing via color tone.
The Air Pro's battery life is directly related to this, and this is where Earfun is once again quite convincing. In practice, our in-ear headphones didn't quite achieve the promised nine hours of music playback, but with a good eight hours each, battery life was still excellent. With the charging case, we got a total battery life of around 26 hours, enough for longer trips.
The Air Pro can also convince us to a large extent with its wearing comfort: the concept of a simple silicone cap, which fits into the ear without any additional support, is of course not very original, but at least with us the in-ears were comfortable and firm. An additional retention option, like that offered by some competitors, would always be a welcome addition for a successor.
Conclusion
With the Air Pro, Earfun once again improves the already available Air headphones: For the current price not available* (Testzeitpunk: €80) you get in-ear headphones that combine many additional functions with good sound.
Particularly positive about this one is the very well-realized bass, which is impressive considering the size of the headphones. Even in the highest frequency ranges, the sound quality is at least commensurate with the price, which is why the Air Pros convince here. Unfortunately, one flaw of the Air Pro is the recording quality, as the built-in microphone noticeably distorts the voice: the timbre is changed and the sound also appears distorted.
Features like noise cancellation and ambient recording are also positive features, very versatile for the price. The implementation of additional functions is not comparable to more expensive models, but they are still useful.
The Air Pro scores very positively in terms of battery life, as with around eight hours per charge the earbuds should be able to cope with any daily routine. With the charging case, you can use the earphones for several days without charging them.
Considering the still moderate price and the good implementation of the Earfun Air Pro, we can recommend purchasing them, provided that you do not have to count on high recording quality. In addition, with the discount code EAPANC20 you can reduce the price by 20% by the end of the month – and in the future the price of in-ear headphones should stabilize a little lower than that anyway. 'at first.
