Samsung Galaxy Note Edge Rear Camera Replacement
The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has a 16MP rear camera. If your camera isn't taking pictures as good as it could, you'll need to replace it. To access the rear camera, you'll need to remove the back panel, the middle frame, and the motherboard.
Step 1 Battery
Using the pointed end of the spudger, disconnect the two wires (pink and white) located near the bottom of the phone.
Using the pointed end of the dpudger, disconnect the fingerprint scanner cable - it is located directly above the pink and white cables.
Using the pointed end of a Spudger, strip the following threads that connect these parts to the logic board in the upper left corner:
Front camera
AMOLED display
Capacitive AMOLED screen
Step 7
At the top end, gently insert the pointed end of the spudger under the motherboard.
Gently lift the motherboard up. Disconnect the cable that connects the daughter board. It is attached to the underside of the motherboard.
Remove the motherboard from the device.
The rear camera will be connected to the motherboard.
Using the pointed end of the spudger, disconnect the cable on the right of the camera.
Perform this step on a flat surface, as the camera will come completely apart once the cable is disconnected. Failure to do so will cause the camera to fall.
Remove the rear camera from the device.
To reassemble your device, follow the steps in reverse order.
