If you decide to factory reset your Android, the easiest way to do it is through Settings. Here's how.

1. Go to Settings then General Management .
2. Click on Reset option .
3. You will see four options – Reset Settings, Reset Network, Reset Accessibility, Factory Data Reset.
4. Tap on Factory Data Reset. You will then see a list of accounts, apps, etc. that will be erased from your phone.
5. Scroll down and tap on Reset .

How to factory reset Android in recovery mode

1. Turn off your phone.
2. Press and hold the Volume Down button and the Power button until it turns on.
