Dreo Solaris Slim H3 Specifications

Frank and worrying now, the Dreo Solaris Slim H3 space heater covers all the essentials you need for a fan heater, including a thermostat, so it can automatically turn off when temperature is reached. Precisely, the heater will adjust energy usage on the go, reducing consumption when it is close to the target temperature. Placing only the fan is not great, but this is a useful fan heater for a variety of rooms.

Key features

This heater writes a ceramic fan, with only a cool mode.

Thermostat This fan has a thermostat, so it will automatically turn off when it reaches the target temperature.

Introduction

Even fan heaters with a thermostat are not necessarily the most energy efficient, working in the heat setting you selected until they turn off. The Dreo Solaris Slim H3 Space H3 ceramic fan heater is different, as it slowly decreases energy consumption as it approaches the target temperature, which helps to save money.

It's a decent heater, although in some ways it's a bit basic and doesn't have any smart features.

No smart features

A long and thin cylinder, the Dreo Solaris Slim H3 Space H3 heater does not need a large desk or floor space to stand on, but it is large enough to take a wall of warm air out of the fan.

This model does not have smart features, as everything you need to control it is available via the control panel or the small remote control. Having a remote control is useful, but it would be nice to have a place to store it, say magnetically attach it to the fan when it is not in use.

There are two modes of operation. First, the standard heating mode, in which there is a choice of three heat levels: H1, H2 and H3. With these modes, the heater will constantly release hot air.

With Eco mode, a fan thermostat becomes available, with settings between 5°C and 35°C available, which appear on the fan's stylish LCD display. After a few seconds of inactivity, the screen turns off. I'd rather if the screen stayed and showed the current temperature.

Once the fan reaches the correct temperature, it turns off automatically, saving power when it doesn't need heat; the fan will turn on automatically when the temperature drops.

There is a timer, operating in increments of up to one hour up to a maximum of 12 hours.

If you want to vacuum the room with heat, the fan also has an oscillation mode, which serves a sweep of 70 degrees.

Finally, there is a fan-only mode, which technically means that the Dreo Solaris Slim H3 Space Heater can be used all year round.

Adjusts power on the fly

Only the fan mode is not too strong

Most fan heaters with a thermostat require the selection of heat output, and then the heater turns off as the temperature is reached. The Dreo Solaris Slim H3 space heater is considered smarter. In eco mode, it adjusts the output temperature (and therefore the use of energy), based on the required heat level.

When the fan approaches the target temperature, it reduces the heat output. This is elegant for two reasons: it saves energy (and money), and reduces the likelihood that the fan will exceed the target temperature you set.

I found that the heater generally works between 1kW and 1.5kW, when in Eco mode, turns off when needed.

I found out that it only took 15 minutes to raise my desk temperature from 18°C to 21°C, using a total of 0.627 kW of power.

Only in fan mode, the heater pushes air out at a speed of 0.8 m / s from 15 cm. That's okay if you sit near it, but buy a more powerful model, like the Dyson Purifier Hot + Cool Formaldehyde if you want stronger airflow in the summer months.
