GDm-Health App
The GDm-Health app is a free app for pregnant women with pre-existing diabetes or women at risk of developing gestational diabetes. GDM stands for gestational diabetes. The app currently has over 1 million downloads. The GDm-Health app, provided by Sensyne Health, is a resource-rich app that can help you effectively manage your diabetes during pregnancy. It features a patient app, a dashboard, and a web app for doctors.
It allows you to record your blood glucose (BG) readings so your doctors can monitor them in real time. This can be viewed as a graph or a diary. You can also request a call back from your doctors or care team in the app. The app teaches you about GDM, food and diet, weight management, activity and fitness during pregnancy.

IFDC Application
If you have just had a premature birth, the IFDC app allows you to play an active role in your newborn’s care in the intensive care unit (ICU). The IFDC app is provided by Imperial College Healthcare Trust as part of the Integrated Family Care project. It currently has over half a million downloads but is not available in some countries. The app gives you vital information about your baby’s developmental timeline including birth time, weight, length, skin, brain and sensory development etc. It also allows you to record feeding rates , skin condition and other things that are important to you as a premature parent.

ICE Medical Standard App
During an emergency, every second counts. The ICE Medical Standard app for iOS takes this into account. The app lets you store emergency medical contact information on your phone’s lock screen. In the event of an accident or other emergency, first responders, emergency personnel, EMS, or FEMA can access your emergency medical contact information by turning on your phone, even if you can’t move or talk.
