Over the coming months, Amazon Fire TV will offer more 1080p HD streams from Amazon Video than ever before – even if you don't have a 4K TV. HEVC is almost 2x more efficient at encoding video than the current industry standard, meaning less bandwidth is needed to deliver high-quality video streams.
