Samsung will use Qualcomm processors in all Samsung Galaxy S25 phones
As revealed to us by SamMobile , Korean media outlet Hankyung recently published a report confirming that the new Samsung Galaxy S25 series phones will carry the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor worldwide.
Everything seems to indicate that, as happened with their predecessors, the new Samsung Galaxy S25 and Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus will be equipped with the Exynos 2500 processor, the high-end chipset that was presented to the community a few weeks ago, but that will change.
According to the aforementioned report, Samsung wants to use “higher-performance components” in its upcoming S25 series phones and that’s why it decided to bet on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor, which “improved core performance by more than 30% compared to its predecessor, including the implementation of generative AI functions.”
Considering that the iPhone 16, which will be introduced in a few days, will carry the new A18 Bionic processor and will be the first to have Apple Intelligence, the artificial intelligence platform developed by Apple, Samsung knows that it has to put its all into the game with the Galaxy S25 if it wants to compete head-to-head with Apple.
