One of Samsung's Cheapest Phones Gets Important Android Security Update

As it prepares for the September security patch to hit its top-tier devices, Samsung continues to roll out the August Android update to some of its budget phones and a good example of this is that the Korean giant has started rolling out the update to Samsung Galaxy M34 5G phones around the world.

As confirmed by specialized media SamMobile , the South Korean brand has started rolling out the August 2024 Android update to the Samsung Galaxy M34 5G in several regions of the world with firmware version M346BXXS5CXH1.

This new software update brings the August 2024 security patch to the Galaxy M34 5G, which fixes a total of 50 security and privacy vulnerabilities, fixes some general UI bugs found in previous versions of One UI, and improves the stability and performance of this phone.

After receiving the update to One UI 6.0 with Android 14 at the end of last year, the Samsung Galaxy M34 5G is expected to be updated to One UI 6.1.1 in the next few months and the update will arrive to Android 14 with One UI 7 early next year.

If you have a Samsung Galaxy M34 5G and want to check if you have already received this new security update, all you have to do is access the Settings menu of your smartphone and enter the Software update section.
