Honor publicly attacks Samsung and mocks its Galaxy Z Fold 6 phone
Honor takes aim at Samsung It's a very bold move from Honor, if you were considering buying the Galaxy Z Fold 6 but felt Samsung's latest foldable phone lacked a clear edge, Honor is asking you to take a moment to talk about the Magic V3, which will be officially unveiled at IFA in Berlin on September 5.

Honor Magic V3 specs outperform Galaxy Z Fold 6 in terms of thickness
The Honor Magic V3 was first unveiled in China (where else?) a little over a month ago, and is set to make its second public appearance in Berlin during this year's IFA trade show. Obviously, we can finally expect to get some official details about the phone's pricing and availability in Germany and other European markets at this upcoming event, but in order to build as much hype as possible on social media before all that stuff is revealed, Honor is trying to beat Samsung at its own marketing game.
To clearly signal the power of its new phone, Honor is showing the Magic V3 alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Z Fold 5, and Z Fold 4. The Magic V3 is only compared to the competition in terms of thickness, easily winning the industry's thinnest ratio at just 9.3mm.
When folded, the Z Fold 6 is 12.1mm thick by comparison, and if we add in the illustrations that Honor criticizes Samsung with, the Magic V3 has a significant advantage over its direct competitor in terms of thickness when unfolded as well. Of course, this is not the only thing that fans of foldable phones look for before making their next purchase decision, but unfortunately for Samsung, the Honor Magic V3 has a number of other key strengths… We expect these to be heavily promoted in the near future and these features also open the door for Honor to attack Samsung.
Honor attacks Samsung over Magic V3 Honor features
We're talking larger, sharper, smoother main and sub-displays than the Galaxy Z Fold 6, more impressive cameras (spec-wise) across the board, faster charging speeds, and a bigger battery, too, all packed into a noticeably thinner and slightly lighter body.
Simply put, the Honor Magic V3's (theoretical) superiority over the Z Fold 6 is hard to argue with, which is why we're so keen to see the so-called "best and thinnest" phone unveiled internationally and hopefully featured in a comprehensive review soon. Unfortunately, Honor is unlikely to be able to unleash its magic in markets like the US anytime soon, which means your best foldable phone options around will remain unchanged for at least a little while longer. In my humble opinion, Honor has every right to take a dig at Samsung.
