Galaxy M23 menu in Google Play Console Main Specifications
Galaxy M23's listing in Google Play Console confirms key specs
A lot of information has been circulating about the Galaxy M23 recently, including color variants and temporary specifications. Now, the Google Play Console menu (via MySmartPrice) gives us a deeper look at what a 5G-ready smartphone can hold for us.
Galaxy M23 will pack some decent hardware for a budget smartphone
Several leaks predicted that the Galaxy M23 will run with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC processor. The Google Play Console menu agrees with speculation, essentially confirming that it will be powered by SoC. This should, on paper, allow the smartphone to outperform most offers from competitors at this price point.
Other Galaxy M23 specifications highlighted on the list include an FHD+ display (1,080 ×2,480) and 6GB of RAM. Interestingly, the part showing the structure of Android has been cropped. However, it would be reasonable to assume that it will run the dedicated Android 12 with One UI 4.0 out of the box.
Due to the big update in SoC, Samsung may have to cut other corners to make the Galaxy M23 as accessible to everyone as its predecessor. Some components, such as the camera sensor and battery, can be reused. Despite the compromises, the Galaxy M23 should make a suitable low-cost, fifth-generation smartphone for fans.
As far as the Galaxy M23 release date is concerned, we can expect it to decline sometime in the coming weeks. We should see more of them on testimonials as their launch date approaches.
