WhatsApp's new feature to filter chats by custom lists

What is the new WhatsApp feature?
This revelation comes from WABetaInfo , who also shared screenshots showing how chats will be filtered through custom lists. The custom list labels will appear alongside the existing “All,” “Unread,” and “Groups” labels in the app. The filter name will be the same as the list name, and when you tap on it, you’ll see the individual chats and groups associated with that list.
When will the new WhatsApp feature be available?
This feature has been spotted in the WhatsApp beta app for Android, which has version number 2.24.18.16. However, since it is still under development, it is not available even to beta users, but you can expect it to reach everyone on the beta channel in the coming weeks before it is released to the public.
