A proprietary way to check new phones and distinguish them from old ones for Android and iPhone through a simple command line
Have you ever decided to buy a phone, whether an iPhone or Android, from a phone store, but you did not know whether it was actually new or had been used before and repackaged and defrauded? We find many sellers, when new phones are released, use them for a period of time, then re-format and repackage them, sell them and defraud buyers. We also find sellers who sell used phones such as Samsung and others at the original price and deceive the buyer.
In fact, these sellers do not know that all electronic devices, including phones, leave traces that allow us to know the history of their use and many things that many people do not know.
Frankly, the next time you want to buy a specific phone, simply ask the seller to open the box for you, and then you carry the phone, you will download the Termux application, which enters the phone and does not require root to work. The important thing is that you enter it and write the following command line: stat /cache | grep Modify, and then you click Continue.
Now it will show you the last time the phone was formatted, frankly if it is a new phone you should find that it was formatted at the time you turned on the phone for the first time, or you will find that it does not give you any information about the format, in fact this programming code allows you to know the time the phone was formatted for the last time and from it you will not be defrauded if you buy a phone again.
As for iPhones, you will go to the phone and type #06#* which will give you the IMEI number and you will go to the imei.info website and put the number and check
Simply put, it will give you a warranty. As we know at Apple, once you activate the phone for the first time, it gives you a full year warranty. The important thing is that if you find the date as today’s date, make sure that the phone is new. However, if you find that the date goes back a long time, then you have been scammed and the phone is not new and has been used previously.
