Get to know the Vice Rectorate
The establishment of the Vice Deanship was officially approved on (26/2/1434 AH) after the approval of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Higher Education Council on the minutes of the Higher Education Council in its (seventy-first) session held on (14/11/1433 AH), in which Resolution No. (10/71/1433) was taken approving the establishment of the University Agency in addition to a number of other agencies and deanships.
To start a new process of work, serious development and diligent follow-up of all administrative, technical and developmental aspects at the university, as the Vice Deanship includes a number of supporting deanships and active departments.
The Vice Deanship also represents one of the main pillars in the organizational structure of the University within the University Vice-Agencies.
In order to achieve the university's mission towards the country and society, the University Vice Presidency plays its role to implement the best technical and administrative services that contribute to achieving the desired university goals and keep pace with modern developments, in a way that ensures high-level outputs that achieve the desired ambitions and meet the needs of the labor market.
Describe what the Vice-Rectorate does
Assisting His Excellency the President of the University in managing the entities associated with him organizationally.
Supervising the Deanships of Faculty Members and Employees Affairs, Information Technology and Educational Technology, the Women's Department at the University, and Administrative and Financial Affairs, and granting them powers in accordance with the laws and regulations, in order to create the appropriate climate to produce high-quality educational outcomes.
Supervising and controlling everything related to the competencies of the financial department, contract management, procurement and related matters, such as tenders and others, and auditing their work.
Supervising the financial planning of the university and following up the appropriations for its budget items and discussing them with the Ministry of Finance.
Supervising and maintaining the university's facilities and buildings, as well as supervising and following up on its construction projects.
Supervising everything related to technical affairs at the university and its branches.
Work on updating and supervising the administrative work methods at the university and continuously improving the technology of work in procedures to ensure the completion of administrative and financial transactions in record time and high efficiency.
