What is the current price of the cheapest Tesla Cybertruck?

Tesla has announced sweeping changes to the pricing and availability of its Cybertruck electric car. The company has stopped taking orders for the base model, which retails for $60,990, making the mid-level, dual-motor, all-wheel-drive model the cheapest option currently available.

This mid-range model, which has an estimated range of 318 miles, saw a steep price increase of $20,000 to $99,990. The three-motor Cyber Beast model also saw a price increase, rising from $99,990 to $119,990, with a range of 301 miles.

These increases come after Tesla initially advertised the base model at just $39,000, before raising it to $60,990 when deliveries begin in November 2023.

Despite the price hike, the good news for customers is that those who order the mid-range model now can receive it this month, while the Cyber Beast model will be available starting in October.

Those who previously ordered the base model at $60,990 can expect to receive it next year.

Elon Musk said last fall that the company had received 1 million orders for the Cybertruck. But the car has had a number of problems since it began delivering to customers, including a faulty windshield wiper motor, an issue with the accelerator pedal cover, and a risk of a piece of plastic trim on the trunk edge coming off.

Tesla confirms that it has addressed all of these issues, in an attempt to maintain customer confidence in this revolutionary model of electric cars.
