Your iPhone is a costly investment, and as such; It makes sense that you'll want to conserve your iPhone battery to make it last as long as possible. There are many ways to conserve and boost your battery, and make your iPhone perform for months and years longer than you ever thought possible.

Jonathan Tian , co-founder of Mobitrix, a US smartphone solutions provider that works on data transfer and iOS bugs, offers many great tips on what you should do with your iPhone every day to extend battery life. The first tip is the simplest, and probably the most effective you can do right now that will make a huge difference to your iPhone battery.

Monitor screen brightness

Jonathan says one of the easiest ways to reduce battery consumption is to lower the screen brightness, disable location services, and refresh apps in the background to keep the battery in good shape.

Reduce your storage capacity

Go to the iTunes store and search for a movie with a file size larger than your remaining storage space, tap on rent, you'll get a notification that you don't have enough storage space to direct you to settings, Tian says. “You'll get some storage again if you tap on that notification. Try to repeat the process 4 to 5 times.”

Try to extend the life of your charger

Take a spring from one of your old pens and loop it around the ends of the cable until it reaches the end, this will keep the cable from getting damaged in no time. Thus, it prevents you from buying another iPhone for a long time.

Remove all default apps

"Hide unused programs," says Tian. iPhone apps have a lot of features that help us live a better life, most of which you probably don't use regularly. In iOS 14, you can move your unused apps to Apple's App Library.

Don't wait to charge your phone battery

“Switch your phone to Airplane mode in Settings, or in the menu that can be accessed by swiping down from the top of the screen, and it will charge twice as fast,” Tian reminds us.
