Clear Firefox Browsing Data Using a Keyboard Shortcut
Data Browse survey Firefox using the keyboard shortcut. If you're a fan of the Mozilla Firefox browser and want to clear your browsing history (browsing data) quickly, there is a simple keyboard shortcut available to help you perform the task on the operating systems Windows, Mac, and Linux. Here's how to use it .
First, open the Firefox browser. In any open window, press one of two sets of keyboard shortcuts depending on the type of computer you're using:
Windows or Linux: Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete.
Mac: Press Command + Shift + Delete.
After clicking on the appropriate shortcut, the "Clear All History" window will appear.
If you'd like to change any of the settings — such as the time range to clear or any items from your history that you want to clear — you can do so now using your mouse or trackpad.
Your Firefox browsing history will be cleared based on the settings you selected, and the next time you open the Clear All History window, it will remember the last settings you chose, so you can quickly clear your history just by pressing Enter - no mouse required. Also, if you find yourself clearing your history frequently, you can also enable private browsing mode (or even keep it enabled at all times). In private browsing mode, Firefox will never remember your browsing history. Happy browsing!
