Activate this feature and it will prevent your phone and accounts from being hacked
Once you dip your virtual toe into the waters of the Internet, you expose yourself to danger, whether from suspicious links, dodgy downloads, data collectors, or anything else. The good news is that our web browsers have evolved to become safer and smarter.
Google Chrome has had a Safe Browsing feature for some time that flags websites that are considered threatening websites, so you stay protected. With Enhanced Safe Browsing, Google is adding more tools to improve its security features.
Enhanced Safe Browsing will provide a more accurate assessment of online threats. It will notify you of potential risks that could harm or expose you. You will receive a warning when you download malicious files from the Internet. It will also inform you of potential data breaches that may include your credentials. It will also block access to malicious links that you may receive. You just have to activate it with the steps we will explain below. And it will prevent your phone from being hacked.
Enhanced Safe Browsing on Chrome is a useful and reliable security feature. However, to enjoy all this added security, you need to enable the tool from your browser settings.
Launch Google Chrome on your mobile phone or tablet.
- Click on the three dots icon.
- Go to settings.
- Select Privacy and Security.
-Click on Safe Browsing.
- Select enhanced protection.
