Microsoft Teams makes it easy to share your desktop or mobile screen in your online meetings. You can even choose between sharing your entire device screen or just a specific app window. Here's how.

How to share your screen in Microsoft Teams on the desktop
On a Windows, Mac, Linux, or Chromebook computer, you can use the Teams web version or app to share your screen in a meeting.

To get started, first, launch Microsoft Teams on your computer and join a meeting.

In the meeting, at the top of the Teams interface, click on the "Share Content" option (up arrow icon).

You'll see the "Share content" section to the right of the Teams interface. To share the entire computer screen, click in this section on "Screen". To share the window of a specific application, click on the "Window" option instead.

If you select the "Screen" option, Teams will start presenting the desktop screen in the meeting. You'll see a red border around your screen indicating that the screen is being shared.

Note: On Linux, you won't see the red border around your screen when you share it. You also can't share the window of a specific application on Linux.

If you choose the "Window" option, select the application window you wish to share.

When you're done with your meeting and want to stop screen sharing, then at the top of the Teams interface, tap Stop Submission.
