Android Auto 13.2 is now available to everyone: Here's the news and how to update
We already have a new update for Android Auto in the form of the stable version 13.2, which all users will now be able to download.
The update has been available since yesterday, and Android Auto 13.2 is reaching all users, but the rollout is being implemented in waves.
If you have automatic updates enabled, Android Auto 13.2 is likely already on your device. If not, you'll need to head over to the Google Play Store and see if you have the new update available for Android Auto.
If you don't have it, and don't want to wait, you can always head over to sites like APK Mirror and download version 13.2 to your mobile device, then install it as long as you have the option to install from an unknown third party enabled.
As for the new features included in Android Auto 13.2, there are obviously none, just greater compatibility with electric vehicle charging connectors has been integrated, including NACS (North American Charging Standard) for Tesla vehicles. Additionally, it includes two new types of connectors, Type 6 and LECCS (Light Electric Common Charging System).
Apart from that, Google is working on several new features that will arrive in future versions of Android Auto.
One of these new features is the addition of the ability to make calls using third-party apps like WhatsApp.
So, in the future, you'll be able to use other dialers in Android Auto, so you can select a contact and, for example, make a voice call without unlocking your phone.
Since all new features in Android Auto are server-side activated, it is recommended that you always update it to the latest version so that you are the first to enjoy them.
