Google is using AI to power a new fraud protection feature in Chrome. Basically, what this feature does is analyze the purpose of pages as we browse the web.

It is currently a feature in full development and can be enabled in the Chrome Canary beta. To activate the functionality as such, 

- Download and install Chrome Canary browser

- We go to the page: Chrome://flags 

- In the search engine, we search for Client Side Detection Brand and Intent for Scam Detection. 

And activate it 

Since then, we will be able to take advantage of this new functionality in the latest Chrome Canary release and it is expected to arrive soon in the stable versions of the browser.

It should be taken into account that this new functionality uses the LLM component, or Large Language Model, to analyze the web pages we visit from our computers. This is therefore the feature that helps the fraud detection service determine the purpose of a particular web page, making it easier to identify potential fraud.

For example, if we manage to access a fake page or if fraudulent tactics are detected, it will display a warning on the screen to alert us to avoid interacting with it.
